Africa Utopia

Africa Utopia welcomes Akala, Ozwald Boateng, Chineke! Orchestra, Noel Clarke, Nathalie Emmanuel, Bethann Hardison, Femi Kuti, Denise Lewis and many more to the London-based festival in Southbank. Africa Utopia celebrates arts and culture from across the African continent. It returns between Friday 13 – Sunday 15 September 2019 in a new collaboration with IndabaX.

Now in its seventh year, the event will this year explore how Africa and its diaspora shape the way we think about art, culture, gender, race, sexuality, fashion, activism and society.

I have been a regular to this event and you can see and read my experiences here. To keep tabs on other community events, follow What’s on in Your Community.
