The Fashion4Africa showcase is an initiative that supports emerging models and fashion designers of African origin in the UK and Africa through mentoring, training and development projects funded by fundraising events.

The event is organised by British-Gambian founder under the company ANEMP & Co Solutions and includes industry workshops, sample giveaways from designers and retail discounts.

Since the project was launched in 2010, Somali Samira Hashi has been crowned the catwalk queen. Other successive model and designer winners have included Africans originating from Ghana, the Gambia, Nigeria and Uganda.

This year’s Fashion4Africa Designer of the Year winner will receive a skills mission to Ghana sponsored by the highly acclaimed Global Mamas. Find out more about F4A here.
