In conversation with film-maker legend Ernest Abbeyquaye

Ernest Kofi Abbeyquaye has been in the film-making business since the early 60s and before that had a childhood talent for telling stories.

This stalwart of the Ghanaian theatre/film and TV industry has notched up an impressive number of accolades – the latest being the enviable title of TV and film pioneer at the 2018 GUBA Awards in London (13-14 July 2018).

In this MisBeee Writes podcast, he speaks to me about his early beginnings in creating stories, his GUBA nomination and how he met (Dame) Judi Dench.

The music featured in this podcast is called ‘Di Asempa’ and comes from Atakora Manu & His Sound Engineers.
